Simple signatures were stitched using a five-hole pamphlet stitch. The signatures were woven together using embroidery floss to form a larger book. The greatest challenge was seeing the pamphlet stitches that were a light color poly thread on white paper. Using a contrasting thread to stitch the signatures would make the weaving process much easier. We also made button badges using the Badge-a-Minit machine. A brand new member was welcomed by winning the raffle prize, a much sought-after Speedball mug donated by Angie Vangalis.
