At our meeting today, Mary taught us how to transfer a drawing to the lino block, carve it and print it. There were some really great little blocks sitting on our tables. Nancy also led a group of members and guests in writing Uncial. Uncial is a hand that came into use in the 200s and is written with a broad-edge dip pen. We are going to continue Uncial next month and perfect this hand before we move on to another one.

Saturday, June 4: Kids' Day at Kingman Regional Medical Center. Dennis, Cindy and Nancy who drove from Las Vegas, Angie who was in town from Texas (!) and Pat who lives in Kingman scribed close to 500 names on bookmarks for kids and adults. It is so fun to see the response of the attendees. This was our third year participating in this community service event.
