Pat Evans, a member from Kingman, Arizona and very active in the Kingman Center for the Arts (https://kingmanarts.org). Pat covered the floor with large tarps and then long sheets of paper at the Red Rock Harley Davidson classroom. She brought huge brushes that had to be at least 3 feet long, dipped the brushes into ink, and then standing over the paper did vertical calligraphy to prepare large wall hangings. Some members brought their own paper to use the large brushes on. There was a lot of fun to be had between waiting for the paints and inks to dry. Many scribes enjoyed munching on the ever present snacks whiles we waited. Pat also brought supplies to make name buttons. She also brought samples of repurposing projects into small books.
